Bryan Cranston\u2019s daughter, Taylor Dearden, has realistic views on success as an actor.<\/p>\n
Cranston was asked about Dearden\u2019s breakout role in HBO Max series\u00a0The Pitt,\u00a0<\/i>and whether he\u2019s concerned at all about her career.<\/p>\n “She\u2019s got a great head on her shoulders, and so I have no worries about her,” Cranston, 69, told\u00a0People.<\/i><\/p>\n While at the red carpet of\u00a0Televerse 25<\/i>, he was also asked if he\u2019s talked to his daughter about the ups and downs of an acting career.<\/p>\n “She\u2019s a very observant young woman, and she saw her mom and I going through our lives, and I was 41 when I got\u00a0Malcolm in the Middle<\/i>\u00a0and had a solid hit show,” he said.<\/p>\n “Before that, I was a working actor. I did a few series that didn\u2019t last. It\u2019s like it\u2019s up and down and up and down. You just stretch out the dollar to be able to say you\u2019re still an actor,” The Studio star explained.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Breaking Bad\u00a0<\/i>star also shared his view on Dearden\u2019s show\u00a0Sweet\/Vicious<\/i>, which got cancelled after one season in between 2016 and 2017.<\/p>\n \u201cShe was terrific and the show was great,\u201d Cranston said. \u201cBut like most shows, you know, there\u2019s something that goes on.\u201d<\/p>\n He adds, \u201cShe knows that it\u2019s a long haul.
