And so my inclination would be to say probably not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moore, who last appeared at Cannes with her body horror hit The Substance, acknowledged both the promise and limitations of AI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s beautiful aspects to being able to utilize it,\u201d she said, but stressed that true art comes from the human spirit. \u201cWhat it can never replace is what true art comes from \u2026 the soul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moore is serving on this year\u2019s Cannes competition jury alongside Park Chan wook, Ruth Negga, Laura Wandel, Diego C\u00e9spedes, Isaach de Bankol\u00e9, Paul Laverty, Chlo\u00e9 Zhao and Stellan Skarsg\u00e5rd.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Demi Moore urged Hollywood to embrace artificial intelligence rather than resist it.
